Acid attacks continue to increase in India and are becoming more and more gender biased as females are getting affected. Even after the government has implemented a ban on selling of acids without license, the attackers finding it no difficulties in getting a hand to acids and using to on innocent victims. Most of the cases, the attacks are made on the girls who refused the marriage proposal from the attackers. The recent attack on a Russian woman in Varanasi is no different.
This is the act of some sick minds.
