The Lonely Chair

The Lonely Chair Chandannagore Strand

























The Lonely Chair at Chandannagore Strand area..... The place has a lot of them facing the Hooghly river (Ganges)..... Though the chairs were old they had a ethnic look..... One can sit on them and enjoy the view of the river...... The only problem is the chair areas are particularly extremely dirty..... The paan eaters effect.... May be my expectations are a bit high about getting a clean place to sit at a free public place (no entry fee)...... Bare from these places the entire area is reasonably clean though.......

    I love the angle with which you have clicked the picture, makes it even more beautiful. Too bad to hear of the paan effect though, wish people had some civic sense.

    Thanks for stopping by and giving feed backs to my thoughts and share.... We are still careless about keeping a public place clean.... But I think things are improving a little and it is solely our responsibility.... Hope we will see cleaner Chandannagore Strand in near future (I must say bearing few places it is cleaner in Indian standard)...
