Inspirational Plain Graduate: Mother Of A 2-Yr-Old And 3 Business Ventures

Entrepreneurship is not a smooth road, more so if you are an Indian woman. This, off course, is a stereotype which has been wonderfully smashed by Preeti Mittal who owns three business ventures.

An award-winning businessperson Preeti started BlueBit Systems, an IT consultancy, in 2011 to provide online marketing services. Her venture helped companies with services such as Search Engine Optimization, digital marketing, social media marketing, website development etc. Consistency in quality of her services, along with innovation has been her strong points.

A wife and mother, Preeti has quite some hold in managerial skills as she juggles roles of an entrepreneur, mother, and wife with equal gusto.

Second and third venture

Alongside an IT consultancy, Preeti runs an online store “Pehnaari” which sells ethnic women wear. Her third venture is an event management company Party Poppers. Her extreme ability of multitasking is evident from her daily routine.

She plans her schedule meticulously in advance. She manages foreign clients at odd hours, delegate talks, communicate with her team to develop strategies according to client needs and attend e-meetings. She works in the night with her existing clients. She firmly believes in delivering services as per the commitments made and that also in a timely manner. For others, her routine may be exhausting, but her passion for work enables her to work out everything with ease.

Apart from managing her busy schedule at work, she never neglects her role as a mother (she has a two-year-old boy) and wife. Her husband though helped her in many ways and always encouraged her to get ahead with her passion. He supported her throughout and knows how to keep her motivated as well as cheerful.

Preeti is fortunate not only in having an understanding husband, but also amazing parents who became her emotional anchors, guiding her through all the balancing acts in life. Her success never came easily as it seems. She struggled for five years after graduation when she worked for various companies and then started her own venture after knowing the in and out of the industry.
