Hangseshwari Temple

Hangsheswari Kali temple in Banshberia, Hooghly, West Bengal. The main feature of this temple is the presence of 13 minars or Ratnas built as blooming lotus bud. The inner structure of the temple resembles human anatomy. The temple was built by Raja Nrishinghdeb Roy Mahasay, though completed by his widow wife Rani Sankari. In the same courtyard there is another temple called Ananta Basudeba Temple, which has some fabulous terracotta art curved on the walls.
